Who I am

For 22 years I have photographed conferences, galas, and corporate events for brands of every size. I know what you actually need out of the day: the speaker at the moment the room leans in, the handshake that means something, the unguarded laugh between sessions that a posed shot never catches.

I came up shooting live music, six years photographing artists like Britney Spears, Lady Gaga, and Flo Rida, where the light is terrible, the moment happens once, and nobody gets a second take. That is the whole skill set, moved indoors. I read a room fast and I am in position before the thing happens, not after. I have also been flying camera drones since 2011, so aerial coverage comes FAA-certified and built in.

Where I work

Most of my work is here in San Diego, including the San Diego Convention Center and the Gaylord Pacific Resort & Convention Center. I also travel for multi-day conferences and brand activations when the dates line up. On site I keep a light footprint: no rearranging your run-of-show around my camera, no flash in anyone face mid-conversation.
